sematicon AG is successfully certified according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 27001!

We have successfully obtained the DIN EN ISO/IEC 27001 certification from varISO and can now officially demonstrate the high importance of data and information security in our company. This enables us to confirm the trust of our customers and business partners in the protection of their data.

The DIN EN ISO/IEC 27001 certification is an internationally recognised standard for information security. It refers to the introduction, implementation, monitoring and documentation of an information security management system (ISMS).
Companies only receive certification if, among other things, the following points are fulfilled:

  • Assured availability of IT systems and processes
  • Confidential handling of information
  • Minimise IT risks, possible damage and consequential costs
  • Organisational measures
  • Technical measures
  • Ensuring compliance requirements
  • Systematic detection and elimination of weaknesses
  • Control of IT risks

The certification is valid for three years and is confirmed by regular internal and external audits. This ensures the stability and continuous development of data and information security in our company.
