About the German Startup-Cup
The non-profit association GFFT e.V. organises the German Startup-Cup annually. Innovative technology start-ups that were founded in 2015 or later and whose business focus is based on a new technology can participate. In the pre-selection process, a large number of start-ups (>50) were screened to see if they met the entry requirements. The winners of the respective categories will be determined by public voting.
The competition is intended to contribute to the topic of innovation being given greater importance in Germany and to improve the conditions for the development of future-oriented technologies. In order to draw more attention to the technology startup sector, various aspects of sport such as cup rounds, tables and finals will be transfered to the world of startups.
